About Beth
I’m passionate about maths outreach and helping others have confidence tackling maths problems.
I obtained a First in my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Oxford and a Distinction in my Master's degree.
Outside of maths, I love painting, running and reading!

Hello! My name's Beth, I studied Maths at Oxford University and I got full marks in both my maths GCSE and A Level exams.
I’m keen to make maths accessible to all - maths can be a scary subject, and I want to make it fun and enjoyable instead! I’ve done a lot of tutoring in the past on other platforms, helping one student go from a predicted 5 to a 7 in GCSE over 4 months, and another student go from a predicted A Level A to an A* in 2 months.
I can help with anything from passing GCSE maths resits, to helping with maths personal statements for university applications.
I host the YouTube channel mathsunboxed which you can check out to get a sense of my teaching style!
