About Nicholas
I am in my second year studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Oxford having got three A*s and an A in my A-levels. I have been tutoring all levels of maths for almost three years.

In my lessons I typically focus on practicing techniques and learning by doing questions as I feel that this is the most effective way to learn maths. If focusing on a particular topic I would normally explain the topic briefly first and then move onto questions, at first offering a lot of help as the student moves through the question and then progressively less help after the student has tackled more questions.
