About Madeleine
I'm Maddie, a law graduate from Oxford University who wishes to help others achieve their academic goals. I took my A-levels twice, and thus I believe that I have a very different and valuable perspective on the exam and revision process. The first time I took my A-levels I took Chemistry, Biology and Maths and due to unforeseen personal issues, I did not do as well as I expected and knew I had greater potential and so decided to retake. When re-taking I retook Biology and Maths and took up English Literature to complete in 1 year. I then took a gap year after receiving my results to apply to Oxford
My retake year and my gap year prove to be great challenges but they taught me so many valuable skills that I am excited to share.

When completing my A-levels I was able to figure out the best methods of revision to ace the exam. I quickly discovered that an acute focus on the actual exam paper and what the exam board requires is the most effective way of revising. Therefore, I aim to centre lessons around the task at hand, which is the exam or the interview. I will structure lessons around practice questions to help students understand what the assessment requires and suggest flashcard topics and practice papers to complete between lessons.
