About Oliver
Hello and Welcome to my profile. I'm a distinction graded History graduate from the University of Oxford and also hold a First Class Honours Undergraduate Degree from the London School of Economics (LSE). I'm currently tutoring students in History, Politics and Geography at all levels of ability and providing assistance to students applying for university.
Having recently graduated, my experiences of University, A-Levels and GCSEs are still fresh in my memory. My tutoring looks to use these recent experiences in improving both the students knowledge of the subject and their essay writing style in order to maximise grades. I tailor my classes to the needs of every student and their personal ambitions in the subject.
My sessions are dynamic, interesting and focus on helping students achieve the highest possible grades. I look forward to hearing from you and getting started.

In my sessions I look to create an interactive environment where the student is not lectured but an open conversation is created. The most productive learning experiences come from when both the student and tutor is engaged in the learning process.
I also understand that every student has specific abilities and ambitions. From our first class, I will identify these and construct personalised lesson plans around them.
My lessons will look to simultaneously develop the student's knowledge of topics, while improving essay writing skills. This can be specifically useful for those looking to prepare for exams.
