About Tim
Hello, I am currently studying for my Masters in General Engineering at University of Oxford, with particular specialties in Civil, Biomedical and Information engineering. I am hoping to build my own business or work in start-ups in either the Construction, biotech or sports industries after uni. I have been trained by and tutoring for Oxford Physics department in 1 on 1 session up to classes of 10. My parents live in Sydney and I will be available for the next two months in person and after I will be available via Skype for the rest of the year.

I believe the number one most important quality to inspire in your students is confidence. The confidence in your own ability to progress with content you may find difficult and the confidence to ask for help when it is needed.
I often like to start with a get to know you type session where we can assess the tutee's ability and from this to draw up a tailored plan for the student's goal. I find this particularly useful as early on it ensures that all three parties (parents, tutee and myself) are all aligned. From here, the style of tutorial will be completely dependant on the student's preferred learning style, often involving working through questions worked on between weekly tutoring sessions.
