About Amelia
I am a second year biochemistry student at the University of Oxford. I achieved A*’s across my A Levels in maths, biology and chemistry. During Sixth Form I developed a passion for teaching and began tutoring gifted young people in maths to help them achieve the highest grades. Now, I am experienced tutor with a desire to teach and help young people aim higher.

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Oxford currently in my second year of studying biochemistry. I am experienced in tutoring maths, biology and chemistry at various abilities for GCSEs and A-levels.
I understand that everyone has a different learning style and so i tailor my lessons so that the student gets the most out of every session!
My general teaching style involves,
- simplicity: by using simple terms and understanding the foundation of a concept which we can then build on, even the hardest and most daunting subjects become accessible and easy.
- diagrams: there is nothing a good diagram can’t explain!
- practice questions: practice makes perfect! We will nail exam questions to learn exam technique and really understand what the examiner wants in a perfect answer.
