About Hanna
I was valedictorian of my high school and have always had a strong passion for math. At the University of Michigan, I have completed Calculus 1 through Calculus 4, giving me a strong foundation in both single-variable and multivariable mathematics.
I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts in a clear and approachable way. I find it especially rewarding to see students build confidence and become more independent in their problem-solving skills over time.

As a University of Michigan Engineering student, I focus on making math clear, approachable, and confidence-building.
My strategy is to start with a clear overview of the topic so students understand its broader application, then break problems into simpler, manageable steps. From there, I guide students through practice problems so they can build confidence and develop independent problem-solving skills.
A typical session includes reviewing homework or previous material, working through current topics with guided practice, and finishing with a brief recap of key concepts.
I tutor middle and high school students in math, including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus.
