About Renata
I am a student at the University of Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Arts (Politics) and have completed some published works for local Zines and prints! I immigrated to Australia at age 7 with my family, so I know how to build these skills from the ground up! I work with children age 5-13 in outside of hours care and as a teacher's aide in classrooms. I also personally completed VCE Literature Year 11 and 12, and have successfully coached students through VCE English and VCE Literature since. I have a WWCC and also work with Neurotypical, Neurodivergent, and Dyslexic children inside classrooms teaching primary school-aged children - I know how to form lessons and communicate them effectively. I genuinely love to teach and to learn, and I know creating a safe, comfortable, inspired and inspiring environment for learning creates the best learning outcomes for students of any age.

These lessons are tailor-made to your specific needs and preferred learning style! Writing, comprehension and navigating assessments can be intimidating, which is why my lessons emphasize a patient, enjoyable and meticulous approach to learning. I've worked with primary school-aged children, as well as kids completing VCE English and VCE Literature in 2021, 2023 and this year! I can also help both school-age and mature-age students with improving whatever English skills they need to polish, it can be so hard to find someone to who can work with your learning style! I can coach you through an entire semester with consistent lessons or pop in and out when you need a little extra support, make the lessons work for you and your needs! My lessons are also Neurodivergent friendly. These lessons are a safe, judgment-free space to really feel out where your strengths are and what you need help with, everyone learns differently!
