About Alex
Throughout my education, nothing frustrated me more than seeing students who deserved better getting let down by useless teachers incapable of explaining even the most simple concepts to their students. This filled me with my drive and desire to help struggling students wrap their heads around concepts holding them back so they could excel.

In my 30 to 60-minute sessions, we will work together through explanations and example questions, targeting your weaknesses. The main goal will be to increase your core understanding of the subject which will enable you to apply your learning to more complex concepts and will help you solve similar and unfamiliar problems throughout your education.
In my GCSEs, I obtained eight grade 9s and two grade 8s, followed by four A*s at A level. I also completed first-year Maths and Physics at the University of Manchester before transitioning into Earth Sciences.
My lessons are open to people of all levels of understanding with the only requirement being willingness to learn and participate, whether you're trying to catch up from behind or trying to get ahead of your classmates. Maths can be taught up to A-level and physics and chemistry can be taught up to GCSE.
