About Aine
Originally from Belfast, I came to Manchester to get my MA in Gender Sexuality and Culture at the University of Manchester. I have always thrived in and enjoyed languages and travelling. When I am not working (although I do work a lot) I can be found in a bookshop, baking in my kitchen, sitting in the park with a good book, or running.
I have significant experience in teaching English, having taught with Choice Home Tutoring since 2022 and with Newell Tuition for nine months. I love getting creative with my students and helping them grow as readers and writers.

My lessons would be an hour long and begin with a small starter activity before getting into the main lesson to make sure the content is not forgotten over the week. I am flexible in how I teach and will work to the students' needs. Typically I like to work on a set book and break it down into the chapters so we can discuss themes, character and language, however I can also work from a school or exam specification.
