About Vigen
I am Vigen, a Physics undergraduate at the University of Liverpool with a strong passion for science, mathematics, and helping others develop confidence in these subjects. My enthusiasm for Physics has led me to pursue research experience at CERN, where I worked in an international scientific environment alongside researchers and students from around the world.
Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of both theoretical concepts and problem-solving techniques required in Maths and Physics. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and helping students see the logic behind the methods they use.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Whether a student is aiming to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain a deeper appreciation of the subject, I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.

I am a Physics undergraduate at the University of Liverpool with research experience at CERN, where I worked on accelerator physics. My goal is to help students not only achieve excellent exam results, but also develop a genuine understanding and confidence in Maths and Physics.
My teaching is centred around one principle: understanding comes first, results follow. Rather than encouraging memorisation, I explain the reasoning behind each concept so that students can confidently tackle unfamiliar questions and apply their knowledge independently. Once the fundamentals are secure, we focus on exam technique, past paper practice, and avoiding the common mistakes that cost marks.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and pace. Whether a student wants to strengthen their understanding, improve confidence, or aim for the highest grades, I adapt every lesson to suit their goals. I encourage questions throughout and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring difficult topics.
I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics online. Typical lessons are 1-2 hours, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. I provide clear explanations, worked examples, structured practice questions, and guidance on effective revision strategies to help students make consistent progress.
