About Silvia
I have 3 years of tutoring experience with much positive feedback from students. As for myself, I am very passionate about the sciences and believe the best way to learn is through personal interest. I am a University STEM major who graduated with the third-highest overall average in my high school (98.7%). Through my high school experience, I have developed a thorough understanding of all aspects of STEM topics, and can share my knowledge and techniques with current students. I have also received multiple merit-based scholarships and academic awards entering University. I have since held a 4.0 GPA.

I will start by evaluating the needs of the student, asking questions, and assessing and understanding your current knowledge on the topic. This way, I can better prioritize the topics to cover in the given time period. I will explain any new or difficult concepts, and give/help you with homework, or extra practice that I have. My goal as a tutor is to help you excel in school, so that you never have to worry about not understanding the content, or not doing excellent on tests. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to answer quick questions outside of tutoring hours. The lessons are for high school or middle school students in STEM-related subjects.
