About Patrick
I started my career in nursing as a new graduate nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. On top of learning on-the-job critical care concepts, I studied outside of work to attain my Critical Care Registered Nurse certification. From there I worked my way up to becoming a Charge Nurse and Preceptor. Through preceptorship, I found that inspiring confidence and seeing young nurses grow in knowledge and expertise brought immense joy to my career. I hope to continue to pass on my knowledge and experience to inspire a new generation of strong and confident nurses.

I prefer a 1-to-1 teaching approach with a focus on the application of concepts and theories into nursing practice. I will typically tailor lessons based on strengths and weaknesses and specific topics as requested. I will break down topics into simple pieces and slowly work my way toward a more complicated understanding of such topics. These lessons are geared towards nursing students, new graduate nurses preparing to take the NCLEX, and new graduate nurses in their residency.
