About Helena
I have a first class degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds. I received 3 A*s at A Level (English, History, Philosophy), including 100% in both English papers. I have previous experience tutoring English Literature from primary school ages up to University level

Each lesson entirely depends on the student's aims so I therefore tailor each class to every individual student's personal needs. If the student is a young primary school child then I have a large collection of worksheets and fun activities which we work through together to improve the desired topic. For older students, I have a plethora of notes and helpful information which I provide to students at the end of each lesson, to ensure that they can return to and revise what I have taught. If the students want, I can set homework/essays which I then mark extensively.
