About Joe
Hi! My name is Joe Rinvolucri, I recently graduated from the University of Leeds, having studied International History and Politics. I have over 4 years experience of tutoring, in all English, Maths and History, across a variety of ages from KS1, KS2, GCSE, A level, and adults. I specialise in English and History, but if there were other subjects you would also like to focus on, I'd be very happy to help with this also.

I aim to craft an open, caring teaching environment, where students feel confident to vocalise their ideas. To do this, I always offer the students the opportunity to input, personalising my lessons to ensure that we address any topics/themes that the particular student may struggle with. I encourage interaction/peer review between students. Above all, I challenge my students to think critically, questioning the texts that are in front of them.
I never rush my lessons. I believe it is critical to conduct lessons at a pace that suits the student's learning style and needs. I take time to explain, and will always endeavour to answer any student's questions as fully as possible. I am a strong believer in the idiom that there is no such thing as a stupid question.
