About Atlanta
I am a recent university graduate, graduating with first class honours in BSc Geology. I have a passion for teaching and love to help others realise that they are capable of anything if they work hard enough! I studied Geology, English Language and Geography at A-level, achieving grades ABB and during this time I worked alongside my teachers to create resources for use with future students. At university, my passion for educating and providing opportunities for others continued when myself and one other set up the Geology Society which quickly rose to be the university’s 3rd largest academic society. Alongside this, I was asked by the course leader to assist on University open days within the Geology Department. I have multiple sets of work experience working in both Primary and Secondary schools so I am familiar with a good academic structure. My goal is to make sure that every student can achieve their full potential and realise that anything is possible if they work hard enough. As I am a student myself I understand the academic pressures and difficulties students may face and therefore can offer advice and tips that perhaps someone who has been out of education for longer may not be able to give. Atlanta is an incredibly patient individual with high quality listening skills and meticulous attention to detail. Her interpersonal skills allow her to build a rapport with students and tailor her knowledge to effectively meet their needs. Her enthusiasm for her subjects makes learning vastly more enjoyable.
Was looking for a tutor to help with Geography A-Levels for a friend. Found they were amazingly helpful in understand not only fundamental concepts, but also building on them.
