About Ailbhe
There are a multitude of ways to approach a mathematical problem, having taken my studies of mathematics beyond the undergraduate level I have developed a deep understanding of the subject. I aim to offer the simplest explanation of a topic to the student, while being able to offer a multitude of alternative (equivalent) approaches/contexts as necessary.

I tailor my lessons individually for each students needs, using a mixture of interactive 'lecture' style for new content, closed form questions to get the hang of a new topic/prepare for a test, and more open questions to encourage a deeper understanding of the subject (resulting in better grades :) ).
Currently I am a Mathematical Sciences Masters student at Utrecht University (Netherlands), and graduated with first class honours from University of Edinburgh in Mathematics and Physics (2020). I have had quite a bit of experience tutoring students in both Scottish and English school systems.
I am available for both in person and online lessons, typically lasting 1 hr each. For the latter I make use of a virtual whiteboard which both the student and myself can edit and collaborate on.
