About Keifer
I grew up very non-traditional. As the son of American parents, being brought up in Kenya I had little access to the same resources others did. My interest in engineering stems from building monkey traps in my backyard; and geography from my parents' jobs in humanitarian aid. I also play basketball, rugby and volleyball, I co-lead numerous NGOs, while also being an intern at the only astronomy social enterprise in East Africa.
My point is, I know all about balance. How hard it is to maintain, but also how to do it right.

As a student who had tutored myself, I know the feeling of getting home from school and having to grind through a tutoring session. I try to make my lessons as engaging as possible and connect with students on a personal level. I am passionate about the subjects I teach, and like to share that passion.
My classes typically range from 1 to 1.5 hours.
Over the past semester have tutored HL IB subjects and seen an average increase form 4s to 6s in my students.
