I have an extensive background tutoring mathematics to a range of ages and abilities. I worked at the teaching institution Kumon for 4 years. Whilst there I learnt to adapt my teaching style to the need of each student and understand how best they process information, designing my teaching methods around that and ensuring they had a full, comprehensive grasp of the methodology. Whilst at University I also began tutoring privately. A few notable mentions of my success rate; All of my student achieved their predicted grade and above. 80% of my students achieved above their predicted grade, with 40% of them achieving 2 grades higher. I have a passion for bringing out the best in all my students and have a very dynamic approach that keep my students engaged and have a genuine grasp of mathematical theories and concepts.

My teaching method is to begin the lesson by working through a past paper initially, spotting the students weaker areas and then basing my future lessons around those topics. I would teach the topic at the start of the lesson and then work through gcse/a-level questions accordingly until they were adamant that they were confident within that particular topic. Following lessons would work in the same manner, until I felt as though the student had progressed to a higher level, subsequently working through another paper to test their progress.
