I teach through discussion, embedding questions and getting students engaged through explaining their knowledge areas and working through their gaps that I see to foster strong recall and memory of the content that is covered. I give strong focus to the areas the student does not feel comfortable in to develop a comprehensive understanding of their studies.
I offer focused 1 to 2 hour tutoring sessions, structured to maximize attention and learning. Sessions typically include a review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, guided practice, short breaks upon request and time for questions. This format ensures students fully understand the material while staying engaged and confident.
I am a current 4th year medical student at JCU Townsville, bringing advanced knowledge and extensive experience as a tutor to high school and university students in the areas of anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, microbiology, pathophysiology, pharmaceutics. I help students to understand the concepts deeply and gain confidence in their scientific knowledge in preparation for exams and achieve top results in these areas.
As a current university student, I am well positioned to teach and mentor high school students interested in navigating towards science and healthcare as well as undergraduate students pursuing healthcare-related studies.
