About OLIVIA
I am an English and Economics major at the University of Chicago, and have occupied many teaching positions through the years—from one-on-one tutoring to volunteer work in a classroom to being a camp counselor. As a separate activity, I do research on education policy and literacy, and as such am very familiar with the education system and how to ensure that students succeed within it. I prioritize connecting with students/tutees in order to ensure that they can best meet their learning goals.

I have tutored students of all ages in English, math, and science for several years, and have developed strategies to customize their learning experiences. My lessons are a blend of work and conversation-based learning; I will talk the student through any issues they are having and observe their independent work to identify any problem areas.
