About Fabian
Hi! I'm Fabian. I scored 100% in most of my high school examinations and went on to graduate with a 1st class honours degree from my dream school, the University of Cambridge. I'd love to help you do the same.
I'm a true generalist; I've done paid work in finance, academic philosophy, consulting, filmmaking, programming, esports and graphic design. My degree in Biological Anthropology covered a range of topics in biology, neuroscience, statistics and social science. I've also got experience as a volunteer judo instructor and an esports team coach, and I started tutoring younger students in Latin when I was in high school. I have a very structured process for how I approach new skills that has allowed me to succeed in very diverse fields, and I try to share that process with students whenever we're approaching an unfamiliar topic.

I can tutor high school students in English, Latin, Philosophy, Biology, Statistics, or Psychology. I can also tutor beginners in writing or graphic design. I will happily tutor any subject to an elementary or middle school level.
I particularly specialise in teaching great study skills, organization skills and independent research skills. Those are the skills that will enable you to be a generalist, too! No matter what subject I'm tutoring, we can cover the basics of how to prepare for an examination and use software tools to revise effectively.
If you're studying the subject in school, we'll focus during our tutoring sessions on the places where you feel you're struggling most. If you're trying to study the subject independently, I can provide a structured curriculum and set goals for us to work on together each week. If I'm tutoring a struggling younger student, I focus on ways to reframe and gamify content to break down whatever barriers are preventing the student enjoying the subject. Every subject can be fun!
