About Dylan
I am a second-year student at the University of Birmingham currently studying Nuclear Science and Materials, hoping to do a Masters in Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors. My degree covers a breadth of topics including but not limited to nuclear and solid-state physics, material science and metallurgy and advanced calculus. I am currently working at a first classification standard.

I aim to provide specialised teaching on a 1 to 1 basis, using the knowledge I've gathered during my degree to provide insight on how different branches of physics and maths relate to each other. One of the main issues with GCSE and A-level science teaching is the lack of explanation of the mechanisms underpinning the phenomena that students have to memorise, and I think by explaining those why these phenomena arise it will help to engage students and inspire a love of the subject.
Depending on the level of teaching I hope to employ some of the methods and material utilised in my own teaching at University, as well as standard curriculum resources and my own notes from when I studied the material myself.
