About Célestine
Hey there, I hold a degree in history and politics (double major) from the University of Heidelberg and a MPhil degree in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford. I have tutored many students successfully in a range of subjects (history, politics, German, English). As a tutor I'm very easy to talk to and I always have my tutee's back.

I have witnessed that often, in subjects such as history or politics, too much attention is paid to learning fractured details by heart instead of focusing on the larger dynamics at play. In my tutorials I strive to engage my tutee in interesting debates, that leave them with a wholistic understanding of a framework. This will enable them to not only recall fractured dates and details but to integrate them into a wider context.
