About Finlay
After my GCSEs I went on to my local sixth form college were I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics and did an EPQ on model Viking boats which was quite cool. I also worked as a bartender part time and spent the rest of my time cooking, cycling and picking up random hobbies like candle making and coding :) I am currently living in Bristol with 5 of my friends while I finish my degree in Economics and Accounting. I am also on a charity committee within Bristol who raises money for different local causes as well as a few other university societies. I hope my quite random life proves an interesting read :)

I have spent lots of time tutoring other students and being tutored myself and found out what works for me is to first hear an explanation of the concepts. Then I like a walkthrough of a problem and then to try myself with guidance if needed and later revision. Obviously this can be adapted for individual students however, I have found this works the best for me and others. I can also vary on lesson length from 45 minutes to a 1.5 hour session depending on preference. My lessons can cater from anyone up to and including year 13/upper sixth.
