About Cassidy
I understand that struggling in math can be incredibly frustrating- I used math tutoring when I was younger and ended up skipping 2 grades of math in middle school by teaching myself the material over the summer. I have worked with elementary and middle school kids for years as well as helping my two younger sisters with their math struggles. I look forward to helping others reach a level of understanding with math to the point where they can go on to teach the subject themselves.

As a tutor, I first assess the student's needs whether that is a conceptual gap, application struggle, or simply another way of explaining a topic. I then break down the concept step by step - I believe that every math problem should be understandable. I adapt my teaching style to each student's individual needs and learning pace, ensuring they get the support they require.
