About Lucy
My name is Lucy, I'm 21 years old and I'm hugely passionate about reading, learning and creative writing. I'm currently in my final year of University and will be training to teach from September. I also love music and movies which has a real influence on the way I interact with literature. I've been a personal tutor for over a year and look forward to engaging with a wider range of students.

I am happy to work along with my student, personalising my lessons for you and your goals. I'm looking to teach lessons 1-2 hours depending on individual need. I am incredibly passionate about English and have a wide subject knowledge that will be highly beneficial for your learning. Together we can tackle reading, writing, essay prep and knowledge. I specialise in Gothic, Dystopia, Poetry and Shakespearean tragedy but I'm always striving to reach out and work with a student on their needs. I have already been an English Tutor for an A-Level student teaching texts like The Handmaid's Tale and Paradise Lost. Having done a theatre and English degree, I have a deep understanding of play texts as well as poetry and the novel.

I offer a free first lesson where we can meet and discuss your goals as a student and how you want me to assist in your learning. After this, I will charge £20 an hour.
