About Georgina
I am a student at the University of York studying Biology BSc. I achieved a grade 8 in AQA GCSE Biology and a grade A in AQA A-Level Biology. I have experience in tutoring maths to students applying to secondary schools which require entrance exams. Having studied AQA Biology at both GCSE and A-Level, I am familiar with the AQA Biology syllabus for both qualifications and am familiar with AQA mark schemes and what AQA will expect from a student.

My lessons focus on teaching the student exam technique and skills which will enable them to problem-solve during exams. I aim to improve the student’s confidence in their knowledge of biology and their ability to answer questions in which they need to apply this knowledge. Lessons focus on recalling information and discussing any mistakes that are made to help the student understand exactly where they went wrong, strengthening their understanding of key concepts in biology.
