About Celeste
I am 20 years old and at university in London.
I went to Uppingham, a boarding school in Rutland, and got two A*s and an A at A-Level. I studied English, Classical Civilisation and Theatre Studies, making me well acquainted with essays and various forms of essay structure.
I am currently also studying Italian with Kings College London.
I’m very interested in drama and acting, acting with youth theatres and taking auditions regularly.

As a student of History of Art at the Courtauld Institute (rated 3rd best worldwide for the subject), I am practised in writing essays and researching works and artists. I am confident in my English skills, having received an A* at A-Level and a 9 in GCSEs in both Language and Literature.
I’m a patient person who loves to learn and teach, and I’m very passionate about reading and writing skills.
I would offer 1-2 hour lessons covering specific areas of the curriculum, assisting in spelling, essay structure, planning and time-management, comprehension, vocabulary and analysis.
I would ideally teach ages 10-16 studying 11+, CE and GCSE.

Perfect! Celeste is highly engaging with my son during the lessons, and her proficiency in the English language is truly exceptional. When I inquired about my son's thoughts on his English tutor, he enthusiastically shared, "She is extremely passionate about the subject, and her explanation skills make it very easy for me to understand."
- Very bright, took to the subject quickly and with enthusiasm. A pleasure to teachCeleste's response :

Celeste is an excellent tutor who understands the material and can teach in an engaging manner. Her passion makes it easy to learn from her.
Celeste was a fantastic English tutor, kind and thoughtful while committed to helping my son achieve A*’s in his exams.
I have seen first hand how wonderfully patient, attentive, and diligent Celeste is. Her knowledge and confidence are infectious. She will expertly tailor her style to your specific needs and stop at nothing until you have the results you desire.
I would recommend her to anyone!Celeste was really helpful and an excellent tutor to my young children.
Celeste is intelligent, caring, exciting and amazing to be around. She can make any topic interesting and put a smile on everyone’s face.
I was recommended Celeste by a colleague. They know her through her parents. My son is dyslexic and hates English, before Celeste we were worried that he wouldn’t pass his GCSEs (out school makes kids take English language and literature) . We have had her tutor my son once a week for the last 6months and he LOVEs it! She’s very friendly and fun and he enjoys her tutoring sessions. I honestly never thought he would look forward to discussing any books, but now he prepares all on his own for the sessions. I can’t recommend her enough.
I have know Celeste for many years as she is the daughter of a close friend. She has been helping my two children with their English work. My daughter had her help with GCSE English (she is 17 now) and she has been helping my son who struggles with English (he is in year 10 now). I’m glad to hear she has started to expand her tutoring work and can help some more families!
Celeste is very organised and good at communication, would highly recommend!
Celeste is hardworking, encouraging and patient with students of all abilities. My kids loved her!
