About Huzayla
Hi, I am Huzayla and I am about to start studying Biomedical science at University of Bradford. I’m passionate about helping others learn and grow, especially in subjects like Maths and Science, which I enjoy and understand well. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on building confidence. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and tailor each lesson to suit the student’s learning pace and goals. I am mostly familiar with the AQA exam board as that is what I was taught during my school years however I am open to teaching other exam boards too. While I may not have years of tutoring experience, I have tutored my nieces and siblings in the past and have grown a passion in helping young people achieve great results. I have dedication, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine interest in seeing students succeed. I understand how stressful academic work can feel, and I aim to create a supportive, stress-free learning environment where questions are always welcome and progress is the goal.

To give an overview, each session will start with a quick warm-up to review previous topics and identify areas that may need extra attention. I will then introduce new concepts using simple explanations, visual aids, and real-life examples to keep things engaging and relatable—especially for younger learners. We work through practice questions together, gradually building up to independent problem-solving to boost confidence. To track their progress, I will regularly check understanding through mini quizzes, active recall and short reviews at the end of each session. I will also keep notes on each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, so I can adapt future lessons to match their needs. For longer-term students, I set mini-goals and celebrate milestones to keep motivation high.
