About Kendall
I have been mentoring students for four years. I've tutored about twenty students individually. The rest I've briefly taught in a specific topic. I've studied algebra and the French language for four years each. I've learned that it's not what one is taught that is hard, but the technique in which they have attained the information that makes the skill hard to retain. I like to think it is my mission to help bridge the gap between students and their teachers. With all of the difficulties during COVID, it's already hard for a teacher to connect with their students, not to mention checking for understanding. If I can provide a bit of help to lessen the gap, even a little is worth it!

I am open to teaching at any level of high school. I like to begin a session with any question they have and work on that, then building on that skill. As a mentor, I don't focus much on note-taking, but if that's what my client likes, we may do so. On a normal day, I like to toss the textbook into a trashcan and work on ways for a student to connect math with the real world.

Details
I charge $15 per hour, though it is negotiable. The first lesson is free of charge! A scheduled package- a week's worth of lessons (Monday to Friday: 2 hours per day), is valued at $140. Our second package is valued at $65 (Monday to Friday: 1 hour per day). **The availability above is not finite and is only used for the sake of an example. We can negotiate times and rates for any time and session!
