I believe in holistic teaching. What this means is that I focus on building a strong bond between my students instead of blindly dumping knowledge during a class. Some of the best teachers I've had were also my best friends and I want to simulate that experience in my classes. I do not want to restrict my class to a certain domain. Because of my diverse knowledge base, I can teach science and math to high school and middle school students in a conceptual manner their school teachers cannot mimic. Similarly, as I have been speaking English as a first language for a very long time, I am more than happy to help out people from all ages to write and speak English in a more Western manner. This extends to better performance in the TOEFL and GRE exams.
