About Will
I have always enjoyed helping others with their work, and find teaching very rewarding. It is lovely to help someone achieve their goals and share in their accomplishments.
I have worked with students of all ages and love it when students ask me thoughtful questions which show they are engaged in the lesson.
Normally I have tutored as a part-time job, however all proceeds will go to charity as part of fundraising I am doing for running a marathon.

I have worked as a private tutor for almost 7 years (I tutored peers at Primary school and have tutored in SATS prep up to GCSE/A level.
During this time I worked with students of a variety of skill levels, from students who wanted help to pass, to students who were wanting some extra help to try to reach the highest grades.
I have also run maths clubs at lunch times/after school.
Typically I do 1 hour lessons and have a hands-on method of teaching. I think that the most valuable lessons are ones spent working through problems, making mistakes, and finding the method which works for a particular student. I like to stretch all students and ask them questions which make them think.
