About Calum
I am going into my second year at the University of St Andrews studying Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. But don't worry, I still have other interests! I love to play music on guitar, as well as play a variety of sports like rugby, golf etc. I've found that learning is best when you have a teacher who's truly passionate. That's why I want to help you. I aim to go beyond the textbook and provide fresh perspectives to help you master these subjects. I'm excited to help you achieve your goals!

As a student myself, I understand what it takes to succeed. I'm a friendly and organised tutor who believes in coming to every lesson with a clear plan. My goal is to help you feel confident and prepared as you tackle new material and questions. I teach mathematics and physics in a highly interactive and flexible manner. My approach creates a positive and safe learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and providing feedback. The programme is adaptable to meet individual needs: whether a student wants to focus on a specific topic they’re struggling with or prefers to tackle subjects one by one, the choice is theirs. This personalised method helps make complex concepts easier to remember and understand. Qualifications - achieved 9 Nat5 A's 6 Higher A's and 3 Advanced Higher A's in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Most notably in my Advanced Higher maths exam Paper 1 I scored 100% and 98% overall.
