About Lucia
Hi, I’m Lucia! I'm an English tutor currently studying at Trinity College Dublin. As a university student, I use English every day at a high academic level and understand the demands students face in school and exams. I also completed my International Baccalaureate in May 2024, so I understand what is expected from students in structured curricula and assessments.
In addition to my private tutoring experience, I teach conversation classes through the University Sanctuary program, where I work with learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This has strengthened my ability to adapt to different levels, learning styles, and individual goals.
I have several years of experience supporting students in improving their English, particularly in speaking confidence, grammar, and exam preparation.

-My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each individual student. I believe that confidence is just as important as grammar, so I create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes.
-I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals – whether that’s improving school grades, preparing for exams, practicing conversation, or strengthening grammar and vocabulary.
-I like to combine structured exercises with interactive elements such as discussions, role plays, reading practice, and real-life scenarios to make learning practical and engaging.
-A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I am flexible depending on the student’s needs.
My lessons are suitable for:
• Secondary school students and adults
• Beginners to intermediate learners
• Students who need help with homework or exam preparation
• Anyone who wants to improve their spoken English in a supportive environment
My goal is always to help students feel more confident and motivated while making steady progress.
