About Emma
I am an undergraduate psychology student at the University of Manchester. I received A*, A*, A* in Maths, Psychology and Sociology in my A levels. I wish to tutor as I would want to help someone develop their skills further, and support them as they grow in confidence towards their ability to succeed. I believe tutoring provides students with the specific tools and individual feedback that goes beyond what is available to them in schools, as I would focus exclusively on each student.

Students would become familiar with a range of learning resources including learning summary sheets, practice questions and past paper questions. Each student would be taught specifically for their preferred learning style and the sessions could be adapted for their requirements. The sessions would be 1 hour every week/biweekly depending on the student's preference. Having completed work experience within schools which included 1 on 1 tutoring, and having spent over 3 years coaching sports, I have experience of working with a range of students. The sessions would be for children at KS3 (Years 7-9) and GCSE level (Years 11-13).
