About Sarah
Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a second-year undergraduate Psychology student. I aspire to become a teacher, and am passionate about supporting young people to build their confidence and curiosity about the subjects they study, and are interested in. As a student, I understand the difficulties that come up throughout education, especially around exams. I aim to put students' minds at ease and help them discover their capabilities to learn and succeed. My teaching methods would include going through exam questions, building up key skills such as critical evaluation, building arguments and memory techniques. Another skill is curiosity, I am passionate about being curious, and I would aim to build this through engaging in students' interests in their subject.

I would structure lessons depending on the needs of the students and what they struggle with or want to improve on. I am passionate about guiding students to feel more confident with their skills and knowledge, and would prepare example questions for them to test themselves. I believe that witnessing progress and learning to healthily accept mistakes is key to learning. I do not have previous tutoring experience, however, I am eager to gain experience as an aspiring teacher. I am hoping to tutor GCSE or A-level aged students in Psychology.
