About Jefferson
I’m currently a physics major at Florida Polytechnic University, where I plan on pursuing a career in nuclear physics for renewable energy. I love doing math and have really put in effort to master the subject. I’m a member of the National Physical Society and have taken multiple high-level math courses and certifications from institutions like Harvard and MIT. I have tutored many students in algebra, trigonometry, and calculus 1/2 over the past couple of years through workshops and other online programs and have really mastered what I believe is the optimal way for people to learn math.

I enjoy doing very hands on lessons based on understanding why things happen in math and helping students visualize situations. My main method for tutoring is starting off with an in depth lesson and from there doing practice problems to cover almost every possible scenario where you would need to use the material covered in said lesson. If you enjoy engaging lessons and applying what you’ve learned, i’d say in the tutor for you!
