About Dylan
I have just finished my first year at university, I am now back home looking for a tutoring job. This is because I have always enjoyed learning myself, as well as teaching others, if you look through my profile you will see I have had lots of prior tutoring experience.
I am a very kind and energetic person. I love team and social environments, I used to work at Nandos as a host which was really good for me to improve my social skills in a work environment. I am also a keen Rugby Player, playing for my medschools team.
I can't wait to start tutoring and help you out as much as possible, reducing any of your exam anxieties and improve your overall confidence.

Hi my name is Dylan, I have gained a lot of tutoring experience during my time at school. I started by tutoring students with Special Educational Needs, teaching them for two years so they could learn their whole GCSE course. During my time at school I also taught English and Maths to students who had just started their GCSE course to help provide a good bridge between KS3 and GCSEs. I had also given support to year 11 students to give them the final push before exam season. Now that I am in university I help to organise study sessions between peers to help teach anatomy and go over lecture content.
My process to teaching is to make sure my students understand the fundamental principles of their subjects. I believe it is essential to build a strong foundation of the content needed learning then building up to learn the specifics. But essentially I want to teach my students to understand why something happens compared to teaching them just to memorise a concept. Then once the acdamic knowledge is gained we can work on exam technique to add the final touch in achievinghigh grades.
I am looking to teach Computing and Biology up to an A-level standard, Maths up to a GCSE standard and English at below GCSE standard.
My lessons would aim to be 1 to 1 1/2 hours, lessons will follow this structure --> teaching the content (Based of given curriculum), then applying the learnt knowledge to answer exam questions, reviewing the lesson and answering outstanding questions the student has.
