About Yaw
Being someone who previously struggled with mathematics in secondary school I understand how frustrating the subject can be at times. However, I feel as if I’ve cracked the code, and I’m excited to share my innovative and engaging ways of learning maths with my students to help increase their confidence in their abilities

My lessons are very engaging and informative. I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorisation, as I believe that is the true way to master difficult concepts in mathematics. I use scaffolding techniques to guide my students in the right direction when approaching problems, ensuring they understand the material rather than just knowing the answer.
