About Edith
I achieved 9 A*s and 2As in my GCSE's in 2016 and 3 A*s in Economics, Geography and English Literature A levels in 2018. I am in my third and final year of studying Law at the University of Manchester having averaged a first class mark of 73 so far. I have previously tutored one student at GCSE level in a range of subjects and am currently a student mentor to a sixth form student as part of a pro bono project with my university. Additionally, I have a considerable amount of experience in a range of employment sectors including retail and hospitality.

I aim to deliver high quality teaching using my own experiences of the current UK exam system and appreciation for the most efficient and successful methods of learning and revision. I believe that an interactive, discussion based approach to learning subject material facilitates the best retention and understanding of the information, thus ensuring successful performance in an exam setting.
Alongside this, I also aim to help students explore which methods best suit their learning styles, as this is crucial to effective independent learning. My sessions would consist of firstly gaining a good grasp of subject content through discussions and using examples from wider contexts, before tackling exam questions in a way that focuses on an analytical and evaluative approach, as these requirements are crucial for achieving the top grades in A level subjects.
