About Pearl
My name is Pearl, I am 21, and I am currently studying for a degree in English Literature and Film.
Before my degree, I spent two years working as a bookseller, where I developed a huge passion for supporting children and young people's literacy. Spending time in primary schools and working with teachers to develop their libraries and reading lists shone a light on just how hard teachers work, and now I would like to give back further and support more students in developing their literacy and opening them up to the pleasures of literature!
As much as possible, I want my tutoring to be catered to the student's needs, so just let me know what you are studying and the areas that need that extra support and I will build bespoke lesson plans that leave you feeling confident and ready for exams.

I can offer online lessons and aim to cater my lessons to the students as much as possible. By creating bespoke lesson plans based on the English course being studied, I hope to support students in the areas they want to focus on particularly and build confidence in responding to essay questions and crafting answers.
With an A* in English Literature at A-Level, I can offer English revision support for GCSE and A-Level. Before undertaking my degree, I also gained experience working with primary school-aged children and children with additional SEN requirements, so am open to offering lessons to younger children needing support with literacy too.
