About Malvika
Sometimes content at school can be taught in vague and confusing terms. Having experienced this in school myself, I would like to help you get to the bottom of some of these complicated concepts.
I have been through the school system, exams, and the admissions process into university myself recently, so I can tell you the things that I have learned to help you make it through a little easier. I will share with you some of the methods that helped me achieve the top A* / 9 grades at both A level and GCSE.
My lessons will help you feel more confident in addressing less familiar questions, by teaching you how to take the best approach, rather than just teaching you how to memorise a mark scheme.

I believe that the best way to learn is to keep lessons highly interactive so that my students will be as engaged with learning as possible. Students must provide their own material, having attempted as much as possible before discussing the answers.
Initially, I will provide hints and some guidance to allow them to work through answers, then we will work methodically through the solutions until students are comfortable with the content. The focus will be on learning how best to approach a question so that students can answer any question they face. The lessons will last between 1h to 1h 30min.
Studying Economics at the University of Cambridge, my degree demands not only a great deal of academic rigour, but a strong work ethic, which I hope to impart to my students. Having participated in a tutoring scheme during my time at school, I am also fairly experienced with teaching younger students.
My lessons are aimed at A-Level students studying Maths, Further Maths (with a focus on Mechanics), and Economics. I also teach GCSE students Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Religious Studies, and Spanish. I am also happy to answer any questions about the admissions process to the University of Cambridge, and to tutor for the ECAA and TSA entrance exams.
