About Hannah
I am currently in the third year of my degree studying English and History at York university, and am hoping to peruse a teaching based career. My interests mostly lie in the renaissance and early modern periods; I have done lots of work on Shakespeare in particular, however I am happy to provide support for whatever topics you are studying. From my own studies I have experience of working with a tutor, and know first hand the benefits of getting one to one support with difficult subjects. I hope to be able to provide a fun and engaging environment, where regardless of your abilities you will have the confidence to tackle the challenges which arise from studying either English or history.

Having only just recently passed my exams I still posses the necessary skills needed to help you develop your exam technique and writing style. I am very passionate about the study of English literature and history and hope to be able to provide engaging lessons, which will break down complicated subjects into something less daunting and easier to manage. I am happy to run very student led sessions, focussing on things specific to individual needs and areas of weakness. My lessons would be 1 hour each and are targeted at students looking for support in either their GCSEs or A levels.
