About Abbey
Having a tutor can be a very sensitive subject for many students, but after only a few sessions I believe you will see the benefits of asking for help every once and a while. With my tutoring sessions you will leave with an in depth understanding. I have always had a love for teaching students and am all about the moment everything "clicks" for them. I use an approach of student led, where I prompt them to reach the correct answer or understanding. I also use repetition to truly deepen their understanding for long term, not short term memory. A lesson plan includes an outline of the content with many examples, as working through material is the best way to learn. My lessons are for middle school to high school students depending on the course.
