About Peter
I am certified to teach grades 5-12 by Washington State. I have taught in public schools for two years so far, and have really found my passion and my dream career. I really enjoy making personal connections with each of my students to discover how they learn best, and then adapt the lessons to best meet those needs. I aim to add as much joy and amusement as I can into subjects that can seem dry or boring, because if you're having fun, you'll be more likely to want to be successful.

I'm a very patient instructor that encourages students to do as much hands-on work as possible. I work to match the learning styles of each student. I also focus more on the process behind solving a problem and explaining your work, rather than just getting the answer correct.
