About Zack
Hey! I'm from Las Vegas, NV and currently a Junior at the University of Michigan. Besides guitar, I love wrestling (ex-wrestler at Michigan)/combat sports, pickleball, traveling, and trying new foods. Coming from Vegas I've been exposed to a really unique world of music and performing, where I've been a part of multiple bands, busked the streets, performed in the House of Blues, played music nights in restaurants and a lot more. I was never too formal with my career in music but I have developed a high skill level and have been exposed to incredibly unique and all-around cool experiences because of it. Teaching others in the same way I did is my way of giving others the same experiences that I have had in the guitar world.

My teaching method is a little bit different from others but it is how I really got to learn the guitar in the most exciting way. I focus on songs that you want to play—nothing is off limits. If you provide a list of 5-10 songs that you want to learn before we meet, I will find a way and meet you at your skill level to learn, starting off with the basics and progressing to being comfortable enough to play it anywhere, anytime. I play all music by ear and can help you with anything from chords, bass, melody, to improving solos over it. Lessons are primarily targeting beginners, but I can also teach improvisation and intermediate guitar skills for more complex songs.
