About Santhea
I am an English student at the University of Cape Town. Beyond literature, I am also majoring in Film & Media so I can help with advertisement unpacking and film studies. I am currently achieving distinctions in my English university classes (these assignments cover poetry, Shakespearean works, anti-Apartheid literature, and short stories). I always had a love for writing and reading.

I am a student at the University of Cape Town pursuing my Bachelor's Degree and would like to help high school students prepare for university and achieve beyond their desired grades. My teaching methodology is centred on a fundamental understanding of basic concepts as opposed to superficial memorisation. I also believe that high school and university work is based on key concepts that can be taught at any age. Hence, my techniques involve close reading, exploring similar texts/questions for comparison (to help trigger a free flow of thoughts and ideas), effective use of past papers, and refining essay skills.
