About Alexandra
I'm a second year English major at UC Santa Barbara so you know I'm very passionate about all things literary! I have taken both the AP Lang. Comp. and AP Lit. Comp. tests in high school (scored a 5 and 4, respectively) so I know how to prepare for AP tests. English can be a difficult subject, but I'm here to give you all the tools you need to become an amazing reader, writer, and speaker.

I assess each student's skill level and work from there; sometimes it's best to go back to the basics and build a solid foundation. Other times there's already a good jumping off point. No matter what, I take the time to make sure my students feel confident in their skills before moving forward. I typically tutor middle and high school students but have worked with elementary students as well.
