About Ellie Anne
In highschool, I completed multiple AP science courses such as Biology (4), Environmental Science (5), and Psychology (5). Now, as a junior at UCSB, I dedicate myself to a diverse schedule. Despite challenges, I have found that hard work alone cannot bring you success without the proper tools.
As someone with ADHD in a rigorous academic environment, I have developed techniques that help me tremendously for staying on task, maintaining interest, and effectively memorizing content.
I am a very flexible person and welcome the challenge of adapting to new learning styles.

In meetings, I focus on conversational-style learning in which the student and I review content together and then they are asked to "teach back" the material. This allows both of us to identify potential gaps in understanding as well as simplify intimidating or complex topics into more manageable pieces.
Prior to a lesson, I encourage active communication between me and the student in which they the share current topics covered in their class. This allows me to not only review the content myself, but also to understand their own teacher's lesson style and develop new techniques that help the to student to approach content in a new way.
My lessons can be adaptable to any middle/highschooler and I am available through zoom with flexible meeting times.
